GOALS FOR RADNESS ENSUES
In order to successfully launch this new nonprofit in Salem, we’ve identified the following goals. Get involved and join us on the journey!
establish nonprofit status - DONE!
We are currently working closely with the Center for Nonprofit Law in Eugene to set up Radness Ensues as a certified nonprofit organization. We officially incorporated on October 6, 2023 as a nonprofit! Things are going very well and we are planning on an official public launch of Radness Ensues on March 29, 2024!
RAISE INITIAL FUNDING
Depending on the fundraising strategies and efforts, raising the initial funding of $150,000 could take several months. With effective fundraising campaigns and community support, this goal might be achieved within 3 to 6 months. Once the funding is raised, the process of finding and securing the ideal location can take a few weeks to a couple of months. This may involve scouting available properties, negotiating leases, and obtaining necessary permits. A funding campaign has now begun as our nonprofit status is established. LAUNCH THE BUTTON SHOPPE
After securing the location, setting up and launching the Button Shoppe might take around 1 to 2 months. This includes remodeling the space, decorating it, and preparing the merchandise. Until then, please consider a donation!
EXPAND OFFERINGS AND PROGRAMS
Expanding offerings and programs will be an ongoing process. Some ventures, like the Gift Shoppe, Beverage Shop, Community Art Center, All-Ages Venue, and classes and workshops can be implemented within a few months after the launch. Others projects, such as larger events, might take more time and planning, possibly 3 to 6 months. We’re also excited to continue the Youth Internship/Mentorship Programs. YOUTH INTERNSHIP / MENTORSHIP PROGRAMS
The RAD Youth Internship/Mentorship program will re-start concurrently with the launch of the Button Shoppe. The time frame to start the program might be within 1 to 2 months, depending on recruitment and training processes. There is already a program drafted with previous success. HOST SPECIAL EVENTS
Hosting special events can begin soon after the Button Shoppe’s launch. Small workshops and events might be organized within 1 to 3 months, while larger events may require more planning and preparation, possibly 3 to 6 months. Start planning your party…
CONTINUE TO BUILD PARTNERSHIPS AND ALLIANCES
Building partnerships and alliances with local artists, entrepreneurs, and organizations is an ongoing effort. Some partnerships may be established within a few months, while others may take longer, depending on mutual interests and commitments.
